Welcome to my portfolio from LAIKA’s “Missing Link” film. During my time on this film I worked in the academy award winning Rapid Prototype department doing quality assurance. Quality assurance consists of receiving the 3D printed faces, water blasting off the protective printing wax, chemically melting any remaining residue, magnetizing, sanding and spraying many layers of clear coat with a finishing matte. The below clips are the scenes where I worked on these faces specifically and I am most proud of.
